Recovering perfectionist

I planned my whole life by thirty and then none of it happened and I'm actually grateful. I'm 33, a UX researcher, and I've learned that control is an illusion and it's better to be surprised. I'm funny when I'm not trying, earnest when I am, and I'm looking for someone who doesn't need me to be polished. I love the county bowl concerts in summer and the way everyone dresses like they're not trying. I want a man who's honest about his imperfections and curious about mine. I'm done with performance.
