Foggy mornings, warm heart

The fog that settles over the valley in the mornings is my favorite thing about living here. I'm twenty-five, a barista, and I've been single for about eight months after a two-year relationship that ended because we were going in different directions. I'm young but I know myself pretty well — I've had to. I'm looking for a man who's older than me in maturity if not in years, who actually listens when I talk, and who doesn't think being vulnerable is uncool. I like old movies, cooking new recipes that usually fail, and long conversations about nothing. I'm not in a rush to define anything, but I want something that feels intentional.
