Bush's Pasture Park is my therapy

I have this spot in Bush's Pasture Park where I sit and read when the weather cooperates, and it's where I do my best thinking. Lately I've been thinking about how I want to stop doing everything alone. I'm thirty-one, a freelance writer, and my last relationship ended two years ago when he moved to the East Coast for a job and I chose to stay. No regrets, but I'm ready now. I want someone who values independence but still makes space for connection — someone who doesn't need to be attached at the hip but actually shows up when it matters.
