State Fair nostalgia and new beginnings

Every year when the Oregon State Fair rolls around I get this weird wave of nostalgia for being younger and having fewer responsibilities. I'm thirty-seven, a single mom to one amazing seven-year-old, and I've been divorced for four years. Co-parenting is going well and my ex and I are civil, so there's no drama there. I'm ready to have something for myself again though. I work in marketing and my free time is limited but meaningful. I want a man who understands that my kid comes first and doesn't see that as a threat — someone patient, warm, and genuinely good with people. If you have kids too, that's great. If not, that's fine.
