Dive Bar Regular With a College Degree

I have a master's in social work and I prefer dive bars to cocktail lounges, which confuses people who think education should dictate your drink preferences. I'm 29, a community organizer, and I spend my days fighting for tenants' rights and my nights decompressing with a cheap beer and a jukebox that still works. I want a man who's socially conscious without being insufferable about it. Someone who cares about the world and can also laugh at its absurdity. I've dated activists who were angry all the time and it consumed them. I want passion balanced with joy.
