Jazz Fest Volunteer With Empty Arms

Every June I volunteer at the Rochester International Jazz Festival and every year I watch couples sway to music under the stars and think, I want that. I'm 33, a music therapist, and jazz is the language I'm most fluent in. I want a man who lets music move him. Someone who'll close his eyes when a saxophone hits the right note and not care what he looks like. I've dated men who treated music as background noise and it felt like a fundamental disconnect. Music is how I process the world. I need someone who gets that without me having to explain it. The festival is months away but the right person is worth the wait.
