Memorial Art Gallery Member and Cat Owner

I'm 45, a college professor of art history, and I've made peace with the fact that my standards are high and my patience is selective. I have two cats named after Renaissance painters and a membership to the Memorial Art Gallery that I use more than my gym. I'm divorced and I've been single for six years by choice, not by circumstance. I've been waiting for someone worth the disruption to my peaceful routine. I want a man who's culturally literate and emotionally mature. Someone who can discuss a painting without bullshitting and can discuss a feeling without deflecting. I know that's a tall order in this dating landscape but I'd rather be alone than settle for less than genuine connection.
