West side roots, wide open future

I grew up on the west side of Modesto, first in my family to graduate college, and I work as a case manager for a housing nonprofit now. I'm thirty-seven, single after a six-year marriage that ended two years ago — we grew into different people and that's the honest version. I want a man who isn't intimidated by a woman who's passionate about her community. Someone who'd come to a community event I'm organizing and actually engage instead of standing in the corner. I'm opinionated, warm, bilingual, and I cook carnitas that'll make you forget every restaurant. I want someone real who's not afraid of a woman with convictions. If you want someone agreeable and quiet, I'm not her and I won't pretend to be.
