Late-night diner talks and early mornings

Age: 32
I'm twenty-nine, a line cook at a restaurant off McHenry, and my life runs on a clock that doesn't match anyone else's. I get off work at midnight and I'm wide awake, which is a lonely way to live unless you find someone on the same wavelength. Single a year after a chef I worked with — turns out dating someone you see every shift is a bad idea, who knew. I want a man who'd meet me at a late-night spot after my shift and split something greasy. Someone who doesn't need me to be a morning person. I'm intense about my work, easygoing about everything else, and I can make you a meal at two a.m. that'll ruin you for restaurants. That's my whole pitch.
