Too honest, too tired, still hopeful

Twenty-two and I know I'm young to be this burned out on dating, but here we are. I work as a barista on McHenry, I'm taking classes at MJC, and every guy I've met lately either wants a pen pal or a hookup and nothing in between. I want the in-between. Someone who'll study with me at the library, split a burrito, and not pressure me into anything. I grew up in Ceres, I take the bus everywhere, and I'm saving up for a car but I'm not there yet. I want a man who doesn't see that as a red flag. I'm funny when I'm not anxious, I dye my hair when I'm stressed, and I want someone who thinks that's endearing instead of unstable.
