Sylvan District teacher tired of flakes

I teach seventh grade and if I can get thirty-two twelve-year-olds to sit still and write a paragraph, a grown man can text me back within a day. I'm twenty-seven, born at Doctors Medical Center, never left the valley except for a year in Sacramento that confirmed I'm a small-town girl. Single a year after a guy who kept saying he'd plan a date and never did. I'm over that energy. I want a man who picks the restaurant, picks the time, and shows up five minutes early.
