Mount Ashland ski lift confessions

There's something about sitting on a chairlift in the cold that makes people weirdly honest, and I miss having someone to be honest with. I'm thirty-eight, divorced for two years, no kids, one very large dog named Gus. I work in property management and spend as much of winter as I can on the mountain. Summer it's the river. I'm not looking for anything complicated — just someone whose company I actually prefer over being alone, which is a higher bar than it sounds. I tell terrible stories, I'm competitive about bowling for some reason, and I think the best dates are the ones where you lose track of time and forget to be impressive.
