Southern Oregon winter cozy nights

I'm forty-five and I've decided that winter in Medford is for hibernation and I need a hibernation partner. I work from home in tech support, I have a fireplace I finally fixed, and a dog who sheds on everything. My life is peaceful and I like it, but peaceful gets quiet after a while.
