Quapaw Quarter stroll, looking for spark

I moved to the Quapaw Quarter eight months ago and I'm still discovering things about this neighborhood — a hidden garden, a historic marker I'd missed, a porch with the best Halloween decorations in the city. I'm thirty-four, a freelance writer, and I relocated from Dallas for a slower pace and a cheaper cost of living and absolutely no regrets. I've been single since the move, partly by choice and partly because I don't know many people yet. I'm looking for a man who'd be willing to explore this city with me — someone curious enough to walk a street he's walked before and still notice something new. I'm observant, witty, and I write the way I think, which is in long, winding sentences that eventually arrive somewhere. I want someone who can keep up with that and maybe redirect me when I drift.
