Old State House, new beginnings

The Old State House Museum is my favorite building in the city and I've been inside it more times than I can count, mostly because I'm a history nerd and partially because that Greek Revival architecture is stunning. I'm forty, an attorney in private practice, and my divorce was six years ago. My son is in college at LSU, so I'm officially an empty nester and adjusting to the quiet. I'm looking for a man who's also in this later chapter — someone who's lived enough to have stories, healed enough to have perspective, and open enough to start something new without pretending the past didn't happen. I'm sharp, Southern, and I can hold a room in a courtroom or a dinner party, which are more similar than you'd think. I want someone who appreciates a strong woman and isn't looking to be managed or to manage me. Let's be equals.
