Lake Maumelle kayaker seeks paddle partner

Age: 33
I keep my kayak on top of my car from April through October because I'm at Lake Maumelle every chance I get, and the thought of all those sunset paddles with no one to share them with is starting to feel like a waste. I'm twenty-nine, an environmental scientist for the state, and roughly eighteen months ago a relationship came apart because he thought my weekends should involve more brunch and less mud. We were simply incompatible. I want a man who'd rather be outside than almost anywhere, who doesn't mind a little dirt, and who thinks a quiet evening on the water sounds like a perfect date. I'm grounded, practical, and I have a deep appreciation for the natural world that borders on reverent. I want someone who feels that pull too — not necessarily a scientist, just someone who looks at a lake and feels something. Tell me where you go to feel small in a good way.
