Newly single, cautiously optimistic
Age: 21
Thirty-two, my husband of seven years told me in March that he wasn't in love with me anymore, and I'm still standing, which is something. I work at a law firm downtown, I'm good at compartmentalizing, and I'm not looking to rush into anything. I want someone who'll be patient. Someone who understands that some days I'm great and some days I cry in the Target parking lot and both are normal right now. I like quiet things—walking the trails at the arboretum, a coffee at a shop with actual character, a man who asks how I am and waits for the real answer. I'm healing and I want someone who sees that as strength.
