Mission Hills girl done with superficial

I grew up in Mission Hills and I know what people assume about that. Private school, country club, everything handed to me. Some of that's true and some of it isn't and I'm thirty three years old and tired of performing. I left finance to open a flower shop in Brookside and my father still asks when I'm getting a real job. I want someone who sees me, not my background. Someone who isn't intimidated and isn't impressed by the wrong things. I cry at movies, I sing badly in the car, and I want a partner who finds that stuff charming. Real is the only thing I'm accepting now.
