Northland girl wants to cross the bridge

I grew up north of the river in Liberty and I swear people downtown act like crossing the bridge is an expedition. I'm twenty five, dental hygienist, and yes I notice your teeth immediately, no I can't help it. I'm tired of dating guys from my zip code. I want someone who'll introduce me to parts of the city I haven't explored, who knows a good taco spot on Independence Avenue, and who doesn't think living in the suburbs makes me boring. I have a kayak I never use and it's starting to feel like a metaphor. Help me fix that.
