Lee's Summit mom ready for herself again

My youngest started kindergarten at Lee's Summit Elementary and suddenly I have six hours a day that belong to me for the first time in eight years. I'm thirty eight, was a teacher before I stayed home, and now I'm figuring out who I am outside of being somebody's mother. It's terrifying and thrilling. I want to rediscover the woman who used to hike in Swope Park and stay up too late reading novels. If you've got your own kids, great, we can swap war stories. If not, just know that my schedule has constraints and I need someone who respects that without making me feel guilty.
