Covered bridges and romantic walks

I have a weird fondness for the old bridges around here, the covered ones you find if you drive far enough into the county. I'm thirty-three, a high school English teacher, and I spend my days convincing teenagers that books matter, which is either noble or insane. I'm looking for someone who reads — not to impress me, just because he wants to. Someone who'll drive aimlessly with me on a Sunday and find some diner we've never been to. I'm sentimental, I write letters by hand, and I believe in old-fashioned romance in a way that's probably naive but I'm not giving it up.
