Amish market trips and good company

I'm thirty-seven, a chiropractor, and every couple weeks I drive out to an Amish market for vegetables and bread and the kind of pies that make you question every life choice that led you to store-bought. I want someone to come with me. That sounds small but it's not — it's the whole thing, someone to do ordinary errands with and somehow make them fun. I'm warm, practical, and I've been told I have mom energy before I'm actually a mom, which I'm choosing to interpret as nurturing and not just tired. I want someone who notices the small things and doesn't take good people for granted.
