Botanical Garden blooms, hopeful heart

Age: 38
I volunteer at the Green Bay Botanical Garden on Saturday mornings and there's a bench by the rose garden where I always sit after my shift and think about my life, and lately my thoughts keep circling the same thing: I want someone to sit next to. I'm thirty-five, a copywriter who works remotely, and about a year ago a relationship fell apart because he wanted me to be smaller — less opinionated, less emotional, less me. I won't do that again. I want a man who likes women who are fully themselves, who doesn't see strong opinions as a threat, and who has enough confidence to not need to dim anyone. I'm expressive, creative, and I feel everything deeply, which is my best quality and occasionally my hardest one. I want someone who can hold space for that. Write me something honest and I'll write back with the same.
