De Pere girl, Green Bay heart

I grew up in De Pere, went to St. Norbert for undergrad, and now I live on Green Bay's west side working as a speech-language pathologist at an elementary school. I'm twenty-nine and I stayed in a relationship too long because I confused comfort for love, but that ended a couple years back and I know the difference now. What I'm after is a man who's genuinely kind — not nice, kind — because there's a distinction and it matters. Nice is surface-level politeness. Kind is what you do when no one's watching and it costs you something. I'm warm, I'm dedicated to my students, and I'm the friend who shows up with soup when you're sick. I want someone who'd do the same, who notices when people need help and just helps without making a speech about it. I have a lot of love to give and I'm tired of giving it to the wrong people.
