Meyer Theatre nights, standing ovations
Age: 23
I subscribe to the Meyer Theatre's season every year and I go to nearly every show, usually alone, and I'm tired of turning to my left to whisper 'wasn't that incredible?' and finding an empty seat. I'm thirty-eight, a music teacher in the public schools, and my divorce came through three years ago. My ex thought community theater was silly and I spent years downplaying a thing I love, which I regret. I want a man who either shares my appreciation for the arts or at least finds my enthusiasm charming rather than exhausting. I play piano, I sing in a community choir, and I cry at every live performance because beauty moves me and I've stopped apologizing for it. I'm looking for someone emotionally open, culturally curious, and kind in the way that matters most — the quiet, unperformed kind. If you've ever been moved by something beautiful, you already understand me a little.
