Northeast Wisconsin native, reluctantly single

I've been in Green Bay my whole life except for four years at UW-Madison, and every time I think about leaving I realize I'd miss it too much. There's a groundedness to this place that fits who I am. I'm twenty-nine, a physical therapist at a clinic on the west side, and about fourteen months ago my boyfriend got a job in Minneapolis and I chose to stay. No hard feelings, just geography. What I'm hoping to find is someone who's rooted here too, or at least rooted enough that moving isn't the plan. I like hockey, cross-country skiing when we actually get snow, and cooking ambitious dinners that sometimes fail spectacularly. I'm the friend everyone calls with their problems, which is flattering but also exhausting, and I'd like to find someone who asks how I'm doing first for once. Be that person.
