Meijer Gardens Is My Happy Place

I have a membership to Meijer Gardens and I go every month like it's a religious obligation. The sculpture park in summer is my favorite spot in all of Michigan, and I will fight anyone who disagrees. I'm 27, a dental hygienist, and I'm tired of meeting men whose idea of culture is watching a documentary once. I want curiosity. I want someone who asks questions and actually listens to the answers. I've been told I'm intimidating, which I think is code for having standards. I'm not sorry. The right man won't find confidence scary. He'll find it magnetic. Take a walk through the gardens with me and let's see if the art isn't the only beautiful thing that catches my eye.
