Public Museum Kid Turned Grown-Up Romantic

My parents used to take me to the Grand Rapids Public Museum every weekend and now I do the carousel ride every time I visit, even though I'm thirty-eight and people look at me funny. I'm a kindergarten teacher and I've kept my sense of wonder intact, which is either admirable or naive depending on your perspective. I want someone who hasn't let the world make him cynical. A man who still gets excited about small things. I've been hurt by someone who mocked my enthusiasm and I won't let that happen again. Enthusiasm is my favorite quality in a person. Be into things. Be unapologetically into things. That's the energy I'm bringing and I want it reflected back at me.
