Late Bloomer Finally Ready to Bloom

I didn't date in my twenties. I was too anxious, too focused on school, too afraid of being seen. I'm 31 now and I've done enough therapy to fill a swimming pool and I'm finally ready. I work as an urban planner and I love this city in a way that borders on obsessive. I know every development proposal before it hits the news. I want someone who cares about where he lives the way I care about where I live. Community investment is attractive to me. Show me you put down roots and I'll show you mine. I'm nervous about this whole thing but I'm doing it anyway. If that kind of courage means something to you, then we're already starting from a good place.
