ArtPrize Brought Me Here, You Could Keep Me

I moved to Grand Rapids from Detroit three years ago during ArtPrize and I was so captivated I never left. I'm 33, a freelance illustrator, and the creative energy in this city is unlike anything I felt back home. Every fall I wander downtown for hours staring at installations and every fall I wish I had someone to share opinions with. I want a man who has an aesthetic sensibility, even if he doesn't call it that. Someone who notices color and light and texture in the world. I've been dating intermittently but nothing has stuck. I'm ready for something that does. Show me a piece of art that moves you and I'll know more about you in five minutes than a biography could tell me.
