Gainesville by Choice, Single by Circumstance

I'm 33 and I chose this town on purpose six years ago when I could've gone anywhere after grad school. I work in urban planning and I genuinely care about whether this city grows in a way that doesn't ruin what makes it good. That probably sounds earnest to the point of being annoying, but I'd rather be earnest than cool. I've been single for a year and a half after a three-year relationship that taught me I need someone who shares my values, not just my hobbies. The community garden on the south side is where I spend my Sunday mornings. I want a man who cares about something bigger than himself and isn't embarrassed to say so.
