Flood Plain Girl With a Dry Sense of Humor

Every spring the river rises and everyone panics and I find the whole thing weirdly comforting. I'm 36, born and raised on the Iowa side, and I've watched the Mississippi reclaim portions of the bike path enough times to know that nature always wins. I work for the county in environmental services and I care about the planet more than is probably attractive, but I'm not going to pretend otherwise. I'm looking for a man who recycles without being asked and doesn't roll his eyes when I bring a reusable bag to the store.
