Fourth Ward walker wants history and heart

I walk through Fourth Ward every evening and those Victorian houses make me believe in romance. I'm forty four, professor of English literature at Johnson and Wales, and I spend my life with dead authors and living students and not much in between. I want someone who reads for pleasure, who'll discuss a book without making it a seminar, and who thinks a woman who quotes Auden at dinner is charming rather than pretentious. I'm romantic in the old fashioned sense, I believe in letters and long conversations and looking someone in the eye. Old souls welcome.
