New River Gorge road trip companion

I drive down to the New River Gorge every chance I get and last time I sat on the rocks at the overlook by myself I thought, this would be so much better with someone. I'm thirty-two, an occupational therapist, and I've lived in Charleston for six years and somehow haven't built the kind of social life that includes a plus-one for adventures. I'm fixing that. I want someone who'll take the drive with me, someone who's okay with silence on the way down and conversation on the way back. I'm introspective, I think too much, and I want someone who can pull me out of my head sometimes. Not forcefully, just gently. Someone with easy energy.
