New chapter in the same city

I'm thirty, recently single after a six-year relationship, and I'm not heartbroken — I'm relieved, which feels complicated to say but it's true. I'm a paralegal at a firm downtown, I'm rediscovering who I am outside of a we, and I want someone to share that rediscovery with. Not someone who'll fix things, just someone curious enough to come along. I'm funny when I'm not trying, I'm serious when it counts, and I want someone who can hold both without getting confused. I believe the best chapters start when you stop writing them the way you thought they were supposed to go. This is me, rewriting.
