Charleston spring dogwood dreams

The dogwoods bloom along the river in April and it's the prettiest two weeks of the year and I always think I should share it with someone and then I don't. I'm twenty-eight, a journalist, and I write about this city for a living, which means I love it critically, which is the only honest way to love anything. I'm looking for someone with that same honest energy. Someone who can love a place, a person, a life, without pretending it's perfect. I'm curious, I ask questions for a living and also for fun, and I want someone who isn't afraid of being known. That's the scariest part, and it's the only part that matters.
