I'm 29 and I already have two cats and if this doesn't work out I'm fully prepared to become the stereotype. I work in bookkeeping for a construction company, I live in a one-bedroom in Stamford, and I'm simultaneously the most practical and most romantic person you'll meet. I balance spreadsheets by day and watch old romantic comedies by night. What I want is a man who doesn't make me choose between those two sides of myself. The first warm day of spring when everyone emerges onto Bedford Street like they've been in hibernation — that's the energy I want in a relationship. New and alive. Don't make me adopt a third cat.
