Looking for My Next Chapter

My last relationship ended because he said I was 'too much.' I've decided to take that as a compliment. I'm 31, Puerto Rican, born and raised in Bridgeport, and I refuse to shrink myself down for anyone. I work at a nonprofit doing youth outreach and it matters to me more than a paycheck ever could. When I'm not working I'm usually at my cousin's place cooking enough food for twelve people. I want someone who walks into a room and isn't intimidated by a woman who knows what she wants. The Puerto Rican parade in Hartford every summer is my thing — if you'd come with me and dance even badly, that's worth points. Be genuine or don't bother.
