Politically Engaged, Personally Complicated

I'm 33, I work for a progressive advocacy organization, and I spend my days fighting for things I believe in and my nights wondering if I'll ever find someone who matches my conviction. I'm not looking for agreement on every issue — I'm looking for someone who cares about the world, who has opinions he can defend, who votes. The rallies at the Gold Dome, the community meetings in church basements, the phone banking until midnight — this is my life and I love it. I want a man who's passionate about something beyond himself. You don't have to march, but you have to care. Indifference is the only dealbreaker I have.
