Empty Nester, Full Heart, Starting Over

I'm 43 and my last kid just started at Spelman and my house in Cascade Heights is too quiet and I'm not ready to be done being needed. I work as a school administrator and I've spent twenty years raising other people's children along with my own. Now I'm trying to figure out what the next chapter looks like. I want a man who's also in transition, who understands that starting over in your forties is both terrifying and freeing. The magnolias in my yard that my grandmother planted are blooming again and it feels like a sign. I'm looking for someone ready to write something new. Not a conclusion — a new beginning.
