Mechanic's Daughter, Heart on My Sleeve

I'm 38 and I grew up in my dad's auto shop in Marietta, which means I can change my own oil and I know what a timing belt sounds like when it's about to go. I work in logistics now but I still feel most myself with grease under my nails. I want a man who doesn't find that weird, who maybe even finds it attractive. The Saturday morning car meets at the Varsity parking lot are my guilty pleasure — all those old men and their beautiful machines.
